Sorry for being MIA for such a long time. Haha. Haven't really had the motivation to blog lately. So I guess I would try to start afresh now. The past few months was mainly serving finish my national service, and lazing at home. Tried searching for many jobs but no avail, only Kinokuniya replied and thus I will be starting work at there tmr. (Meanwhile, I will still be searching for a better one - one that pays more. LOL)

After my ORD on 3rd of April, I was just resting at home, watching Japanese drama. Came across this detective drama on crunchyroll, and decided to give it a try. However, I had never thought that I would be hooked onto it, watching the 1st 7 episodes till 4am in the morning, and finishing the drama the next day. I would liked to recommend "Taiten Gakuen Q" to those who enjoy watching detective dramas. Although they are just young actors and actresses, I found that they did a good job in portraying their individual characters.

Currently, I am watching this drama called, "14 Sai no HAHA" (14 years old mother), played by Shida Mirai. She also acted in Taiten gakuen Q. In this drama, she plays an average junior high school student who becomes pregnant with her lover’s child. The drama shows her gradually maturing as the circumstances around her change. I think she did a rather good job in this role, as not many 14 year old kid can actually play such a mature role. I think she actually have the qualities to become an outstanding actress in the future.

Hi... I am finally back, anyone miss me? Haha. Haven't been blogging since I returned from Brisbane. Was caught up in my army matters and also spending time with someone, so didn't really find time to blog. Maybe it is also because of the lack of blog-worthy materials. LOL.

Today when I arrived home, there was a letter for me from my uni, UQ. I thought it was just some random alumni newsletter or something. But upon opening, I got the best present anyone could have after spending years studying.

I got into the Dean's Honour Roll!!!!!!

I had totally never expect that I could get into the honour roll, especially not after getting that terrible 4 in 1 of my final year course. But, I guess I was lucky enough to be able to get into the honour roll.

Hope with this piece of extra paper, it would make my job hunting easier. Am having absolutely no luck in finding a job.

Finally after 1.5 years, this is it. The final ending chapter of my university life. It was my graduation ceremony that was held on the 5th of Dec. Dad and Sis arrived Brissy on the 3rd and I went to the airport to picked them up (after waiting for almost an hour - Aussie seriously need to speed things up at their immigration). Showed them around the city, went shopping at Habourtown and ate plently of food. On the day of my graduation, unfortunately, it was raining. But at least the rain cleared after the ceremony, so I managed to take more photos. Now that I have graduated, I kind of miss being a student; not having to think about anything except exams and assignments. Haha. Anyway, will have to start searching for jobs soon. Anyone have any lobang? Please contact me!!!!

Today Ying Xuan and I had our first official date. We went for dinner at Cha Cha Char situated at Eagle Street Pier, which is rated as Brisbane's best steak restaurant from 2003-2006. The restaurant ambiance is nice, but a tad too noisy. The service was good, and the food also came unexpectedly quick. Ying Xuan had the Scotch Fillet while I had the Rib Eye on the Bone. The steaks were cooked pretty well, although mine seem to fall more onto medium rare instead of the medium which I ordered. But overall, both of us enjoyed the food very much and we left the restaurant feeling both happy and full.

Have been some time since I updated. Was busy with packing and moving my stuff over to Ida's place. Ying Xuan, Tyng and Chloe is also staying at the Ida's place for the time being, till their house is available for moving in. Therefore, to kill time, we went to many places, like Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Habourtown and even KTV. Shall update more when I have more pictures. Thats it for now!!

Weee~~~ I am back!! Juz finished my first exam out of 3. It was the last paper of the day, so it started in the evening. Had to endure waking up at noon, and getting nervous for the entire afternoon, before being able to start the exam. Mr Tim, Mr Tim, why must he disappoint us this time round. He was so good last semester, but he have to ruin it this time round. He set such a difficult paper. Now I dun even know whether I can get a 6. Haizz.... but no point ranting about it, as it is already over. Have to concentrate on the next paper, F&B, which I do not have high hopes for toooo. Nothing seems to go well when I am about to graduate.

Nvm, to reward myself, I shall give myself the rest of the night off and watch my Japanese drama... Wahahaha.

Oh ya, weather been crazy again. Was super hot on Mon, then became super cold all of the sudden. Butbut, I am not complaining. I totally love the cold weather. Means less flies... LOL Hope the weather will sustain till I leave the country... :P

I know I haven't been blogging much lately, so since I have some free time on my hand, I shall take this opportunity to update about my life. Today is the last day of all my assignments. I won't have anymore assignments in the future. At least not until I decide to take Masters. Anyway, exams are in 2 weeks time, so have to enjoy my short break before having to start mugging. Didn't really do any exciting stuff for the past 2 weeks or so. Everyday is just the same old routine of going to uni and back to college.

Butbutbut... I am gonna miss this daily routine of mine soon... Cos I am graduating this semester. So... should I be happy that I am finally graduating or sad because I will be leaving all my friends and happy memories in my short 1.5yrs stay in Brisbane. Ain't sure about that, at least not till that day arrives.

However, it is no use trying to relive the past. We must all see what is in front of us now, and always look forward to the future. I firmly believe that the future will be a better world, and look forward to it. =)

Although these trees are so pretty, however, they signify the coming of exams, and once the flowers have all fallen, we will be in the midst of our exams. LOL

The first event of the holiday is Movieworld!! The 4 of us, Ying Xuan, Tyng, Reina and I set off from college at 10am. We managed to borrow the car from my fren, Samantha (\^o^/). We arrived at Movieworld at 11am. First ride of the day was just a warm-up session. We went for the Batman Adventure Ride 2. It was just some motion stimulator. Next up was some roller coaster at the Looney Toons World. Finally, for the highlight of the day, we took the Superman Escape!! 0-100km/h in 2 secs. So fun!!! Watched Shrek 4D, broke for lunch. We wanted to watch the Police Academy Stunt Show, but unfortunately, it started raining. This also signelled the end of our Movieworld. As we still had quite alot of time on hand, we decided to drive to Surfers Paradise. Shopped for awhile and ate dinner, and the day was over, so we headed home to rest to prepare for Sunshine Coast the next day.

Woke up at 7.45am, had breakfast till 8.30am, and set off for Sunshine Coast. Drove for some time before arriving at the first stop, Ettamogah Pub. We took some photos and then headed to the strawberry fields for plucking of strawberries. Next stop was the Superbee Honey Factory, The Big Pineapple. We drove to Eumundi for lunch, which we had at a small family restaurant. The owners were very friendly people, and we even had a short chat with them. They also gave us directions to get to Glasshouse Mountains, and where to have a good view of the mountains and sunset. We reached the mountains at about 5.30pm, and we managed to catch a good view of the sun setting into the mountain ranges. Headed home as it was getting dark, and we stopped by at Taringa's Domino Pizza to get some pizza for dinner. Dinner was spent watching "Night at the Museum" and eating pizza.

Today was a "pig-out" day at Sunnybank. Tyng and I first arrived at Sunnybank to do her hair at this hairdresser called Shi Yue Lang. Ying Xuan and Chole joined us later at ard 1pm. We then headed to Lanmark restaurant for our lunch, which is Yum Cha! After yum cha, we shopped ard at the various supermarkets and even bought a box of mooncake for the mid autumn festival (on the 25th Sept). We then headed to 圆圆糖水铺 for 豆花. After having dessert, we went to 新马餐厅 for dinner. The girls shared 2 dishes while I had the dry curry chicken & pork noodle. It was nice, but damn spicy. Headed home after dinner. What a tiring but fun day out at Sunnybank!!! And... badminton tmr again!

Had a group discussion for my HOSP3001 course today at the Fryer library. It was quite a fruitful discussion as we managed to come up with the entire structure of the essay in that short 2 hr span. Went to play badminton this morning, together with Reina and Ying Xuan. We went to the UQ social badminton organised by the UQ badminton club. We arrived at about 9.30am, and we played till 12.30pm. Played quite a few games, with each game lasting 21 points. Had been ages since I played badminton, so it took quite a while for me to get used to the game. However, it was fun but tiring, and I think I will be going more often. (:

Today was Riverfire, which is an annual firework spectacular held on the Brisbane river. I went with Grace, Ida, Ying Xuan, Tyng, Reina and Chloe to South Bank, which is one of the vantage points to view the fireworks. We were there since 4+pm, but the place is already filled with people. After a hard time finding a suitable place, we finally managed to find one. To kill the time, we played cards and chatted. The deafening power of the Royal Australia Airforce F1-11 jets signalled the start of 30mins of fireworks. Here are some pictures of the firework as well the the group.

Whew... Just came back from a 7 hours group discussion. We met at 9am at the library to discuss our debate speech. Hehe, actually the discussions were only 2-3 hours max. The rest of the time were spent chatting, taking videos, and even playing hangman. But don't say we never do work or not productive. Cos, we came up with lots of ideas and even thought of what the opposition team might say, and come up with our rebuttal... Cheers to our team!!! We will win the debate. Wahahaha

Just watched Rush Hour 3 on my laptop, which was a poorly film-in-the-cinema video. This 3rd series is not bad, retaining all the slap stick comedy by Chris Tucker, and the usual fight scenes by Jackie Chan. This 3rd Rush Hour brings us to Paris, to stop some big triad organisation. The flow of the story is similar to the first 2, which I can say is neither good nor bad. Overall, a rather nice and funny to watch. I would give Rush Hour 3 êêêê

I just finished watching The Butterfly Effect. The movie a reference to the butterfly effect, which theorises that something seemingly innocuous, such as a butterfly's wings, may be the catalyst for something larger, such as a tornado.

Evan Treborn (Ashton Kutcher), who suffered severe traumas as a boy, copes with the pain by blacking out at moments of high stress. While searching for an answer to heal his emotional wounds, he finds that when he reads from his adolescent journals, he travels back in time, and is able to essentially "redo" parts of his past. There are consequences of his choices, however, that he then propagates back to the present; his alternate futures vary from frat boy to prisoner to amputee. As he continues to do this, he realizes that even though his intentions are good, the actions he takes always have unintended consequences. In addition, he needs to go further back in time after every attempt as several fatal mistakes he makes do something to wipe out that and all subsequent journal entries.

What we can learn from this movie is that any small thing we do in the present, might have a huge or adverse effect on us and other in the future.

1. I absoutely cannot study/do work/read/write something with music on. The music seem to affect my concentration.

4. I am a super big Harry Potter fan. I have 2 wands, the time-turner, posters, movie premier booklets, film strips, postcards and tons of others stuff in my collection.

5. I like to roam around in Orchard Road alone, going to Kinokuniya to read books and magazines.

6. I simply hate, detest, loathe, dislike the taste of parsley.

7. My room is always neat and tidy... Except for my bed, because I don't fold my blanket. (You will still need to use it at night, so why fold it)

8. When I stretch both of my arms to the fullest, my left arm to the finger tips is about 3cm longer than my right.

9. In Singapore, I always go to sleep and wake up from the right (facing the bed) side of the bed.

Went to the Ekka again today, and I remembered to bring my camera. So, there will be more pictures available. The weather wasn't very good today, with drizzle on and off. The routine was somewhat similar compared to Saturday, only that we played games at the game stalls. Didn't went on any rides this time. Whew!! Just came back from Ekka. Ida, Grace, Grace's mum and I set off from college at 11.30am and we arrived at Ekka at ard 12.15pm. We started off by just roaming the place, and also deciding on what ride(s) to take. Headed to the showbag area so as to escape the scorching sun. We went to a dog show, animal petting area, circus, and even caught performances of horse chariots racing, bull riding, motocross stunt show and the final highlight of the day, the fireworks!! Didn't manage to take any pictures of the fireworks cos I did not bring my camera. Took all these pictures with my camera phone. Shall try to take firework pictures when I go again next wednesday. (:

Week 2 have officially passed, and now I am one more week closer to exams :p This had been a rather quiet week for me; just going to uni for classes, going for my tennis lesson and bumming around in my room. Weather have been eccentric too. Was hot at the beginning of the week, then all of the sudden, became cold again. Gone were the days where I can go to uni in t-shirt, berms and slippers. LOL.

Managed to finish 1 major essay 2 weeks in advance. At least for now, I have one less burden to bear.

Ekka is coming. It is a hugh annual carnival, with rides, game stores, performances, animal shows, etc... Basically, just a fun day for everyone... And...... I am going this Saturday!! Shall post the pictures if I take any. Heeeee

Went out with Ida to Chinatown where we both got some korean instant noodles (I know I shouldn't be eating those, but they really taste nice :p). Headed to Southbank, where we caught The Simpsons Movie. Was on the citycat, and the clouds were so pretty, so I whipped out my phone and took a couple of pictures. There was also this homeless man squating outside the cinema selling marshmallow for $1 each. Bought 1 from him, and we even pose for pictures with it.. LOL

About the movie... It was quite highly anticipated, and there were messages being portrayed in the movie. The scenes were all funny and we both had a good laugh.. Hail to the Spiderpig and Harry Plopper!! I would give the movie êêêê

And now.... I should really get back to my readings... Haven't been really studying much... Feeling abit guilty.. :p

And first 2 assignments due in 2 weeks time.. God.. Give me more time and wisdom!!

Went for my tennis class this afternoon. Have been ages since I played tennis, so was kinda rusty. My forehand was still alright (just need to bend my knees more...) However, the real problem was my backhand. I have been playing with the single backhand, but I think it doesn't have enough power, so I decided to switch to the double backhand. (*wonder if I made a right choice). Hit a couple good backhands, but most were all high or out... Never mind, will try harder next week. :)

Oh ya... this is the picture of my tennis racquet, Wilson N-code 95, with Babolat Bland string, strung at 60lbs. Bought it this year as my birthday present. But it doesn't come cheap... A$245, now it has dropped to A$199... T_T

Just came back from my college's new resident dinner. It was a formal dinner to welcome all new resident. (Technically, I am not a new resident, but I was still invited.. hehe). All the new residents were all seperated into various tables of mixed nationalities, where we were supposed to mingle and interact with one another. Dinner was good, had a selection of lamb shank, chicken, and vegetarian pasta. There were also red and white wine, champane and soft drinks. Dessert was either chocolate and coffee cheesecake or blueberry pie. Didn't really take many pictures (actually only took 1). There were also speeches being made by each representative of a certain country, but was quite disappointed that no one from Singapore went up to make a speech.

Had some ME time today. Went to Westfield Shoppingtown at Chermside after my classes. Westfield is a huge shopping mall located in the suburb. (Think Vivo City or Chadstone). Actually, my main motive for going there was to visit a shop called T2. Appearantly, it is a tea shop. I had seen T2 in Melbourne, but I forgot to get anything. So, I finally found the only T2 in Brisbane. I bought the "red fancy fruit" tea and the T2 travelling mug. I also made another discovery!! kikki K was beside T2!!!! So now there are 2 shops that is available in Brissy and Melbourne. Wonder when will Max Brenner, IL Dolce Freddo, Mark's Place, Koko Black and Krispy Kreme coming?? LOL

Uni term has officially started. Had my first lecture and tutorial today. Was yawning the whole time while I was in the lecture room. Must be the tooo much slacking during the hols, made me lethargic. Anyway, lecture ended early, so I had time to run back to college for lunch. But I dun think I can catch lunch next time, cos my lecture was supposed to end at 2pm and lunch ends at 1.30pm. Had tutorial from 3pm - 4pm, came back, played abit of WOW, napped for 45 mins, then went for dinner. They were service thai green curry chicken (yummy!!). Was bored, so decided to blog.

And yesterday night, I watched Die Hard 4.0, courtesy of my college network, which is a inter-college software that allows us to share all sorts of stuff (music, games, movies, etc). I had seen the trailer before, and true to it, the entire movie was adrenaline rushing. The terrorists were somewhat cool too, using computers to cause chaos and uproar in America. Overall, the movie deserve êêêê

Finally gotten my hands on the latest Harry Potter book. Went to Borders this afternoon to pick up the book. Was expecting no queues as I thought many would have already gotten it in the morning. But I was wrong, there was a queue, and I had to wait in line for about 15mins. Went home straight and immediately started reading. Am now on the 14th chapter when I am typing out this post. LOL

Yup!!! I am finally back in Brisbane after spending 3+ weeks in Melbourne. Moved into my new room, unpacked. The past 3+ weeks was a very eventful time spent. I had fun, visited many places, shopped like tmr was nv coming, made new frens, chilling out at max brenner's, koko black & IL Dolce Freddo and I even went skiing. Although the time was short, but I have gained many precious memories and friendship, and it was all these that made my stay at Melbourne memorable and unforgettable.

To Su San & Julius: I hope to see u guys during the spring break and then it will my turn to play host and tour guide!! Heee

To Eliza: I wish u Happy 21st Birthday and hope you will stay happy forever! Will catch up wif ya back in SG. =)

Yup!!! Met up with the girls at 8.30am to have krispy kreme for breaky. It is also the last time that we can see Eliza, cos she is flying back (or she has already flew off) to Singapore. Eliza also bought 48 krispy kreme to bring back to Singapore!!!!! Guess she will be Miss Popular for a longgggg time~~ Anyway, we just sat at the hotel's lobby chatting, doing crossword on the newspapers, taking photographs. Then finally came the moment where she had to leave. Did the usual of saying good-byes, hugs and hand-waving. Man, I sure hate having to say good-byes...

Dear Eliza, I do hope you have a safe trip home. For my short stay in Melbourne, there has been nothing but fun and joy with ya, and it is sad that you can't join Su San and Julius on their spring break trip to Brisbane. Went to Mount Buller on Saturday. Woke up at 5am and set off walking in the cold to the city to catch the bus at 6am to Mt. Buller. We slept for most of the journey and arrived at Mt. Buller at ard 9.30am. Got our gears and we headed off for 2 hrs of ski lessons. Can't really say that the lesson was good, actually, I think it was rather crappy. The instructor kinda assume that we could all ski after the lesson, while in fact, we could not (or maybe I can't). Anyway, we tried skiing the gentle slopes, and I was not exactly Olympic standard. LOL.. I think I spent more time falling down compared to actual skiing. But nonetheless, it was an enjoyable experience for me. Returned the equipments at 3pm, had lunch, took pictures and we headed back to Melbourne at 4.30pm.

Arrived back at Melbourne city at ard 7.30pm, and headed straight home to wash up. I met up with Eliza, Eliza's parent, Su San and Lionel for dinner at Ying Thai. It was also a farewell dinner for Eliza, who is heading back to Singapore on Sunday. The food is nice, but rather spicy. After dinner, we chilled at Koko Black, and Cheryl and her boyfriend, Lucas joined us later. Eliza, Su San and I shared this thing called Belgian Spoil, which consist of a chocolate muffin, chocolate shortbread, two Belgian chocolates of our choice, chocolate mousse and chocolate ice-cream. I also ordered a cup of ice chocolate (with 2 scopes of ice cream and chocolate shaving!!!). I was so full after finishing the drink and dessert, that I think I would not have anymore chocolate for the next week. Was supposed to stayover at Su San's place, but I guess I was looking too exhausted, the girls asked me to get some sleep. So I arranged to meet them in the morning for krispy kreme.

Went to watched Bridge to Terabithia with Eliza and Su San on Friday. They had free tix and I had nothing to do, so I tagged along. The show was about these 2 kids who created the world of Terabithia with their imagination. Acorns became granades, tress became trolls, dragonflies were Terabithian Warriors. I guess we just have to watch this movie with an open mind. So therefore, I had paid $11 to prove to myself that I have absolutely no more imagination left in me. Wonder how when we were young we could think of all sorts of scenarios for roleplaying. LOL... Anyway, credits to the 2 kids on their marvellous imagination, I will give the movie êêê

Anyway after the movie we headed to Melbourne Uni as the girls needed to settle some stuff. They also brought me for my first official tour around the campus. The campus is rather big and is also very pretty. However, the layout is kinda confusing. We also took some pictures at the south lawn, which is hugh grassy place similar to the Great Court in UQ. Hang ard with the girls for dinner and some table-tennis action. They are definitely improving rapidly. If they played everyday, I think they wil win me soon~~

On Thursday, Su San and I helped Eliza move her luggages to her parent's hotel. Met up with Lionel and we headed to IL Dolce Freddo for some gelato. I had durian and baileys as recommended by Eliza, and it was d-e-l-i-cious!!!

Watched Harry Potter today at Nova wif Eliza, Su San, Julius and Julius's fren. The movie was supposed to start at 10.30am, but only began at 10.45am. I tink it muz be the cinemas here... Always never start on time. Finally started, and I was glued to the screen for the entire movie... Nothing can distract me. LOL... The show was rather good, but it can definitely do better, cos there were scenes that were totally different from the book. Overall, I will give Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix êêêêê

Julius, Su San and I (minus Eliza cos she had to pack and rest up) headed to the Royal Botanic Garden after the movie. The main purpose was to have tea and eat its delicious scone. However, there was only 2 plates left, so we had to share. The jam and the creme was super delicious!!! Dinner was at Corretto along Lygon St with Su San and Eliza. It was supposed to be a farewell dinner for Eliza, but only the 3 of us was present. After dinner, we adjourned to Eliza's room for chocolate biscuits (talk abt the 3 of us being sick... :p). Called Joel to find out where he was, only to find out that he is already sleeping at home... Went back straight...

Went shopping at myers with Su San, Eliza and Yong Liang. However, there was nothing worth buying and me & yong liang ended up playing tennis on Nintendo Wii. Was kinda tired, so we decided to chill at Max Brenners. Was my first time there, so tried the suckao based on Eliza's recommendation. Was not too bad tho, but i preferred su san's orange chocolate. Went to safeway for some grocery shopping for tis evening get-together cooking.

Arrived at 6.30pm at Unilodge for our mini cooking session. I had marinated some bulgogi. We made eggs with cheese and mushroom, enoki mushroom with some canned food, boiled vege with canned food, stir-fry bulgogi, and fried rice with mince pork and *censored* seasoning. After dinner and washing up, we headed downstairs for some table-tennis action. After sometime, we decided to start a commentary session along with the games, and we had nicknames for everyone who were playing. Julius: Peking Duck; Yong Liang: Nasi Lemak Boy; Su San: Tofu Girl; Eliza: Sadako; and Me: Brissy Boy. We had such a fun time commenting and laughing till our stomach hurt. We also had krispy kreme for dessert!!!

Went on a road trip on the 6th of July. We set off at 8am to pick up the cars. We drove all the way to a place called Mornington. The first stop was Mt Eliza, where we stopped for toilet break, and then continued up the mountain to Chapmans Point and Franklin Point. Headed to Arthur Seat for more photos. The next stop was Beneo Maze and Wetland Centre. The place had a maze and a place with games, and we spend abt 2 hrs there playing. LOL. Break for lunch (Fish n Chips) at Sorrento. After lunch, we continued on to Point Nepean National Park. Parked our cars and trekked 2.8km to Nepean Point. However, it started to rain while we were halfway there, and therefore we started running. We reached Fort Nepean and decided to spilt groups; 1 was to go all the way to the end, the other juz try to make it. Su San, Eliza and I decided to take a slow walk to the end, and we thought that we would not make it, but we did (YAY!!). Headed back to the carpark courtesy of the tram. Drove to Box Hill for dinner, and headed home after a tiring day.

Watched Transformer yesterday at Hoyts Cinema at Melbourne Central. Caught the 8.45pm show, but it didn't started till ard 9.10pm. The movie was exciting from the start till the end, and I simply love all the fighting scenes. There were also some funny parts in it. I would give the movie êêêêê

Went for basketball game this morning. Man, no I know how unfit I am, cos I had only played for 5 mins and I was out of breath liao. And I also injured myself in the process. Was trying to keep the ball in play, and I managed to, but not without falling down on the ground, and injuring my wrist. Stopped for lunch, where we cooked a 8 course meal, consisting mainly of chicken and vege. And yay, going on a roadtrip to Mornington tmr!!!

Been 5 days since I arrived in Melbourne. So here I am, updating wad I have been doing all these while. These r the pictures for day 2 and 3. Went exploring in the city. Went to Melbourne Central and, QV, Federation Square, and even had my first Krispy Kreme. The 3rd day was to Rod Laver Arena, home for the Australian Open. Went over to Crown Entertainment Complex to look around and even went into the casino. It is huge!!! Many many times larger than the Treasury Casino in Brisbane.

The 4th day was a trip wif Julius's frens to Healesvill Sanctuary, which is a wildlife park. The trip was actually organised by the Uni's CCM. Journey to the sanctuary took abt 1.5 hrs. The first part of the trip was a guided tour and a bird show. Break for lunch and then free time till 4pm. Reached back to Melbourne and we went to a Vietnamese place for dinner

Met up wif Aileen and her boyfriend today for lunch at Chinatown. The place was called Dessert House and they serve nice chinese food. Had seafood fried rice with XO sauce. After lunch, we headed over to St Kilda. We went to Luna Park (some sort of amusement park), where we sat only 1 ride, the roller coaster. Looked ard at the flea market and then headed back to the city, where we went for coffee. Aileen and her boyfriend left after the coffee session and I met up wif Julius and frens for dinner. After dinner, we headed to Crown for dessert. Had a chocolate cheesecake, which was fantastic. Will meet up wif Eliza and Su San tmr to go to Melb Uni.

Went for go-karting last Sat. Picked up the car at 10am, then shifted my stuff frm the old sucky house to Union College. We left for Kingston Park Raceway and arrived there at ard 2pm. We had the Pro-kart wif 4 sessions lasting 10 mins each. The track was 1.1km. Me and Ida had so much fun racing ard the track. The other racers were all crazy ppl, turning at sharp corners without breaking. LOL. After the karting session, we drove down to Surfers for dinner. We played at the big Timezone arcade for 2 hours. We played House of the Dead 4, some stupid drum game, basketball game (where u can cheat to win more tickets), laser skirmish and mini golf. We had dinner at Hungry Jacks (budget la~~). Walked ard in Sufers, then drove back to Brisbane. As we didn't wanted to go home so early, we drove up to Mt Cootha, but we onli stayed there for like 5 mins, as it was raining and so bloody cold. Went back home after tis. Tat's the end of the funnnn roadtrip.. Going to Melbourne tmr!!!

Met Aileen, Jess and Yinglang for lunch yesterday at Elevate. It was the first time that the 4 of us went out together, even though we have been same course mates for almost a year. It was also Aileen's last sem here, so it was sorta farewell lunch.

Weeeeee~~ Finally finished wif my final paper today. Almost couldn't finish writing. Was still closing up the essay when the examiner told us to stop writing. However, the paper was alrite... Wonder will I do well enough... Anyway, enough of exams. Went over to Union College to help Janan with his moving out. Had to help me move 2 big and bulky boxes down and misc. stuff over to Grace's room. Ida helped out too!! Met Ida and 3 of her friends at 7pm for dinner at Hanaichi. I was too engrossed in eating the sumptuous sushi and forgot to take photos. LOL. However, I did take photos of the green tea ice cream and the total no. of plates that me and Ida shared. The dinner was paid for by rachel. Me and Ida was so paiseh lor... Cos we thought that we were paying our own, so we juz ordered as many as we liked. But when rachel said that her dad was treating us, we felt so bad. Shouldn't have ordered so much. The group went to the casino after dinner for some drinks, and we took some photos as well. Took a cab home, as it was too cold to wait for the bus (we had to wait for 45 mins). Yay!!! Go-karting on Saturday, and then Melbourne on Wednesday!!!! (^v^)

Finished with my 3rd paper today. Was quite alrite I tink... Juz hope to do well enough to get a 5, cos I didn't do very well for my assignments. As today was Fri, Grace asked me whether I was gg out. I wanted to.. but no one to go out with. Was tinking of asking Ida, and then she suddenly called me and ask whether I wanted to go to the city. ^o^ So, the 4 of us, including Janan went to watch Oceans 13. Finally managed to buy the takoyaki balls (shall be having it for dinner tmr wif Ida!!!). Watched the movie at 9.20pm. The movie was abt the grp of guys taking revenge on someone. They were trying to rig the casino. I liked all the parts where they cheat and scheme on the gambling... Esp. the slots machines.. Got some kind of pattern, so u can win the jackpot!!! Finished with my first paper yest. It was the module tat I was dreading most (EVNT2000) and finally it was over. Met up wif Ida for a chilling session at La Dolce Vita in Milton. I had Italian Cappuccino and a slide of chocolate cake, while Ida had Italian Hot Chocolate (which was super thick) and a cake whichidunowaditiscalled. We took many pictures, but onli a few came out nice, and we juz sat there drinking our coffee and chatting. We decided to walk to the city via the river pathway. It was winter and the wind was so damn cold, but nonetheless, we enjoyed the walk as it was our first time walking by the river. LOL. OK, shall stop blogging and continue my studies... Another 3 more papers to go (12, 15 & 19), and then I will be off to Melbourne!!! Yatta!!

Me and Ida caught pirates of the caribbean yesterday. Went to the city at 4pm to buy my winter jacket and then we went around exploring shops that we never went in b4. We came to this toy shop where they sell many collectable figurines. We found this toy sword and start posing for the camera LOL!!! Went to Borders (as usual) to read comics and then onward to Nandos for dinner. We walked to Southbank after dinner to buy our tix, but it was sold out!!!! So we decided to head to Myer Centre instead to catch our movie. After buying our tix, went back to Southbank (again) for Coldrock!!! Yummilicous. Along the way, while we were clossing thr road, we saw tis ang mo guy jumping up and down, then suddenly, he slip and landed on his butt. His expression was so damn bloody funny, that Ida and I burst out laughing. We couldn't stop till we reached the citycat terminal. Caught the movie at 9.30pm. After the movie, it started raining and wen we got off at our stop, it was tooo heavy to walk home, so Ida called yikai and he came wif 2 umbrellas for us. Hehe.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was quite nice, with all its action and fighting, but some parts were rather confusing and the conversations were also somewhat unclear, but nonetheless, it was a nice movie. I will give it êêêê

Today we went to celebrate Ida's 21st Birthday at a restaurant at the casino. It was called Blackjack, and we had a buffet. The food was rather alrite. We had a mussel galore LOL. Went bowling with the gang today at Milton Bowling Centre. It had been quite some time since we all met up together. We played 2 games each, with the guys coming out top in the first game, but the girls beat us in the 2nd game. Ahaha. Today's post shall not have any pictures.. ahaha. Juz an update of wad I have been doin for tis past wk. Skipped lecture on mon and went over to grace's place for our rehearsal for the presentation in the afternoon. But, the first grp took tooooo long and aileen and jess's were facing some technical prob wif their laptop, so we did nt get to present tis wk. Grace left her phone in class and it was found by my eyecandy!!!!!! Heeeeeee. Got back the phone from her the nxt day and managed to chat wif her for awhile... (^o^) Wed was Anzac Day, so there were no classes. Went to Chinatown wif Ida to get a box of Indomee (I noe.. it is unhealthy, but I am lazy to cook and eating out is exp). We went to the city to walk ard, tho most shops were closed. However, Borders was opened, so both of us went in and read comics till 6pm. LOL. Thurs, was back to normal, boring lecture, but tute was alrite, kinda find our singaporean tutor getting better. Went to Indooroopilly wif Ida (again), walked ard till we were so tired lor... Ida wanted to straighten her hair, but the shop she asked quoted her an alarming starting price of $600!!!!!! (siao ar). Caught the movie "Shooter" wif Ida at Southbank today. Went to her place for dinner, which was Yong Tau Fu, brfore heading to the movie. We also bought ColdRock ice cream before the show.. It was yummyyyy!!! I had mango and boysenberry wif nutella mix in and Ida had strawberry yogurt and ferrero rocher wif nutella mix in. The movie today was abt an ex-marine sniper being framed for an assassination and how he took revenge on those who frame him. Today, went wif Ida to Chinatown for some grocery shopping and we also caught a movie at Southbank. Actually wanted to watch "Are We Done Yet", but there were no timings available at nite. So we decided to watch "distubia" instead. It was definately a wrong choice, as the movie was a total flop. Lousy plot, supposed to be a triller, but was so boring. Wheeee!! Went to surfers paradise wif Ida on wed. Set off at 8.45am and we reached surfers at ard 11am. We did not book any accommodation beforehand, but we were lucky, cos there were rooms available at The Islander. YAY!! We put our stuff in the rm and headed to the beach. However, it was not veri fun, playing in the water, cos the waves were tooo strong and therefore we couldn't get far, b4 getting swept back to the shore by the waves. Therefore, we left at ard 3+ and went back to wash up and change. We went for dinner at Nandos and shopped at the flea market.. There were manay interesting things to see and we both bought something for grace (Grace!! if u seeing tis, did u buy anything for us at Sunshine Coast? heeeeee). Went to chill at 2 clubs, The Bedroom (recommend by Jess) and The Shack. The Bedroom was nice, however, there was some competition gg on, therefore nt much ppl. The Shack was great!! Nice songs and cheap drinks. It was ladies nite on Wed!!! (so free entry and drinks for Ida!). Went back to our rm at ard 1.30am and we came back to Brissy the nxt morning.

We celebrated Grace's birthday today (her actual birthday was on the 3rd of April). Went to the city at 10am to collect the cake and then we went to hawken's coles to get the party food. We made samosas, curry puffs, nuggets, onion rings, some potato thingy (can't rem the name) and pizza. Everyone arrived at ard 8pm and we all played some table-tennis while taking photos and eating too. Overall the party was super fun, but we had to leave at 9.30pm, cos the games room wil be closed at 10pm and we decided to flee the scene cos we made quite a mess. LOL. Went back to grace's rm to open Ida's present (onli us 4 noe wad it is... heeee). My present to Grace was a pretty dress and Janan's... still duno wad he's giving grace. He is bringing her on a trip to Sunshine Coast, but.. Grace is paying for her own.. (Grace asked me to write tis) haha. For the finale, we went to the oval to play sparklers, so funnnn!!!

Went out wif Ida today for movie at Southbank. We caught Mr Bean's Holiday. It is a typical Mr Bean show, with his funny antics. Both of us had a good laugh and we did enjoy the movie. I wil give the movie êêêê.

Caught Hot Fuzz on wed at Myer's Centre with Grace and Janan. All of us tot what we were gg to watch was a comedy.. But, it was many genre in one... Action, drama, thriller, comedy... There were also some gruesome scenes, which Grace and (surprisingly) Janan scream... LOL... Overall the movie was alrite, and i will give it êêêê.

Had dinner after our movie and we went to Amici's Italian Cafe. I had Veal Parmigiani and Ida had Fettucini Marinara. The dinner was nice and we were damn full. So after dinner, we decided to take a stroll to the city (actually no choice, cos we miss the citycat...), and went to chill at the casino cos the bus was an hr time away. Met Aileen and Jess at the bus stop and surprisingly Grace and Janan toooo!!!

Wheee!! was my birthday yesterday... Haizzz, older 1 yr liao... Met Grace and Janan to go to sunnybank for haircut and facial (they did facial, nt me...). Met Ida at the bus stop where she gave me my present... (thanks Ida, i absolutely love it!!). Did our hair and facial and met Ida in the city for dinner. We went to Hanaichi, a place where they serve superb sushi. After dinner, we went to the casino to chill and listen to the live band. After a tiring day, we finally made our way home...

Finally managed to type out tis post... Having some problem wif blogger (couldn't post the pic). Went clubbing at Union Jacks on the nite of St Patrick's Day. (peeps who went: Me, Grace, Rie, Chloe, Adi, Mark and Donald.. Janan came later) The city was filled wif ppl tat nite and we had to queue to enter the club. So, being typical Singaporeans, we multi-task while queuing up... we took photos!! haha.. The main music genre of the club was techno or trance, so me and grace wasn't realli enthu abt dancing... But at last, they played some R&B and Hip-hop... (Ida!! we need u here.. tat was wad me and grace were thinking at tat time... ahaha) But, our type of music didn't last long and soon revert back to techno... -.- We changed club halfway, but the queue at The Exchange was tooooo damn long, so we had no choice but to return to union jacks.. Dance for awhile before we all head back hm at ard 1.30am...

Today is St Patrick's Day and there was a parade in the city at 10.30am. As it was part of our assignment, Me, grace, yinglang and donald got up early and made our way down to the city to catch the parade. There were quite alot of ppl (dressed in Green) at the time we reached. The parade kick-off wif the ppl cheering and the bag pipes playing... Many floats and vehicles went pass us and we took lotsa pics.. But the parade was generally normal.. Not really like the Chingay back in SG... LOL. It ended at ard 11am and we went to Chinatown for yum cha... =)

Went to Bryon Bay on the 3rd and 4th of March... Our grp of 8 rented a MPV and we drove more than 200kms to Bryon Bay, which is in the state of New South Wales. Bryon Bay is also the easternmost pt of mainland Australia. We set off in the morning, 6am and reached Bryon at ard 8.30am. Went for breakfast at a place called "Fish Head" Proceeded to the lighthouse, where we spent ard 2hrs taking photographs and exploring.. Check-in to the hostel and went to laze ard in the pool... Went for dinner at Hog's Breath and we played bridge till ard 12am. Woke up at 4am to go to the lighthouse again to catch the sunrise.. Was nice tho, although it wld be nicer if the clouds didn't block it... We set off for our return trip and stopped halfway at surfers for lunch and some fun at the beach.. Reached Brisbane at ard 3.30pm and got home dead tired... Enough talking, here are the photos... LOL

Whee.. Am back in Brissy liao... Got off the plane at 0630, 23rd Feb.. Got my luggage and waited for Ida and Setoh at the airport... The first thing was.. "wah!! y the weather so fuckin hot!!!!" Went to Ida's place to put my luggage and then went to the Uni to sign up for language classes.. (I took Jap) Then proceeded to southbank to get my key to the new house... So many procedues to do and finally I got our keys... went back and check out the place... Wasn't realli up to my expectation... But wad done is done.. had no choice liao... the room waas rather ok, but there is no drawers and fan... and it is so damn hot lor... Had to survive 2 nites of heat.. T_T

Went to Ikea wif Ida, Setoh and Yi Kai on the 24th. The journey was so tiring...was suppose to take the train to woodridge, but there were rail works gg on.. so had to stop halfway and transfer to a bus... Then reach a station and continued on train... (so ma fan...) Finally reached woodridge, but the bus to Ikea is coming onli in an hr... so had lunch at a convinent store... the food was nice and cheap.. LOL.. Finally caught the bus and got to Ikea... Ikea in Brissy is HUGE!!! So many things to buy lor... They bought things to beautify their hm, while i bought a hanging compartment for my clothes... Bought too many things liao, so had to take a cab back hm... LOL

25th was a tiring day... Helped Grace and Janan to move their stuffs back to Union College... Was such a tiring affair tat till now, my hands and legs are still pain... Went to Chinatown wif Ida to buy groceries... Went to Toowong's Coles and got more stuffs... In the end, i went back wif 8 bags of items and 1 bag of 5kg rice!!! Dun even noe how i managed to get hm... Cook a simple dinner of egg and sausages wif rice. Went over to Grace's place to chat and play some daidee.. Everyone was tired, so we came back earlier... That's all for tis wk liao... Shall update more later...

Today was a fun day.. Went to rent a car wif Joel, Cedric and Xuan and then we began our makan trip ard SG... The car was a Hyundai, and it was so "Ah-beng"... wif the spoiler and flame decals... LOL. Our first stop was the Ming Kee chicken rice at Bishan. Ordered a half-chicken to share.. Was nt too bad... After we got our car, Xuan had the honour of doing her virgin drive to Clementi, for hokkien mee... A close accident was avoided sia... Was turning ard a sharp bend and xuan went on wif 4th gear... Wah, lucky I found out and told her to slow down.. but she got nervous and slam the brake, resulting in the car skidding... dangerous... Finally reached our destination and we had our hokkien mee... Delicious... Drove to Vivo City for some exploration as some of us haven't visited the place... Almost got lost at there, trying to find Boost Juice... Had my fav watermalon crush, but the cup is smaller compared to Aust. =( Nxt stop is Bedok, to hav their famous bak chor mee... We had bak chor mee, carrot cake, oyster omelette and chicken wings... went to ced's hse to rest for a while, then proceeded to the last stop to hav taiwanese porriage... Sent all of them hme and then met Ceresah for supper :p at chomp pang nasi lemak... It was nt bad... Almost kena summon, but lucky i reacted quick and drove my car away, b4 the police could summon me... close shave sia... LOL. Will hav another makan trip b4 i go back to Brissy... Might be the famous crabs at AMK... Heehee...

Hiaz... went to Far East yesterday to change my phone. Had given up on the O2 Atom... There were some probs wif it, like unable to hear the other party speaking... Went down wif the intention of getting a replacement and hoping that the shop doesn't find out abt the prob. =p. In the end, I changed it for a Nokia N73.. Am quite please wif it so far. I am able to update the software at home, w/o going down to Nokia Care Centre (dun need to queue.. LOL) So here is my new phone!!! Love the camera, takes damn good photos (3.15 megapixal wor... LOL)

Weee.. First post since I came back from Brissy... Has been 2 days since I returned home..Nothing much have changed since the last time I was in SG... The weather is so damn hot and humid.. Miss the nice cooling weather in Brissy... Dad and sis picked me up at the airport and we went to AMK to have dinner.. Missed the hawker food man... Did nothing much these 2 days except for playing WOW and going out... Bought some comics which I did not manage to get due to not being in SG. Went out wif cer today. Had lunch at PS and then cer went for job interview at Raffles Place. We then went to Marina Square to cut our hair at a salon called Chapter 2. The style was quite alrite, but not realli the style I would have liked... But nvm, the weather is so hot, so shorter hair is better (anyway my hair grow damn fast)... Had dinner at Thai Express (first time there... can u believe it!!) I had Tom Yum Seafood with glass rice noodle and cer had curry soft shell crab wif rice... The food was not bad... Went home after dinner... Shall try to blog more often :p

YESSSSSSSSS!!!! It's finally over!!! My exams are done... After 4 horrid consec. days of exam, I hav completed my last paper today... Hiaz... but now I have to pack my stuffs and clear my rm... Moving all the stuffs to Ida's new place (Her place has a garage). I waanna slp so badly man. Will be going clubbing later, and some last minute shopping tmr and then it is off to the airport on Sunday!!! Can't wait to go home... Okok, time for me to sleep ;p and cya in Singapore!!!

Yahoooooo!!! Finally, it is down to the last paper... Left onli 1 more to go tmr... Finished wif tourism and leisure behaviours today. Overall was an easy paper, however, one of the qn. came out different frm the tips. :( Went to Sunnybank wif the gang (haha, I shld be going back to study, but who cares). Grace and Ida went to do their hair. Grace highlighted and Ida trim her hair... Went for Japanese food later at a restaurant called Oshin. I ordered the Plum Set as I was damn hungry. It cost $36.50. There were entree consisting of salad, chawamushi, sashimi (yum!) and 3 chef special. The main course was the ultra delicious Wafu Beef Steak!!!! It was so damn nice!!! Lastly was the black sesame ice cream. Will make it a point to come back and eat again wif the gang. Hiaz, better go back to my study liao la (although I hav no mood.. LOL).

Yeah!!! 1 more paper down, and tis time it was Leisure in Society. I totally hate the BLOODY lecturer... He is such an ass, never give tips and tried to bluff us that the past yr paper was useless... More than half of today's questions were in the past yr paper... Hiaz, finished the paper in abt 1hr (fastest ever... LOL), however, did not complete everything. Couldn't remember all the things (my mind juz went blank at the most appropriate time.. damnation!!!), and left 1 question blank... Overall, it was okay. Should be able to pass!!! Wahaha.. YES, 4 more days to Singapore!!! I miss my family and friends and also all the mouth watering hawker food!!! CHOMP CHOMP, here I come!!! LOL.

Went to the city today with Grace and Ida. Has been quite some time tat we all went out together. Me & Grace waited for Ida outside the UQ exam hall, as she was having an exam. We took the CityCat to the city. We shopped awhile and the girls bought some stuffs. (I didn't buy anything, cos didn't wanna spend $$... haha) Grace brought us to a Korean eatery located ard Charlotte St. When we reached there, the place was full, so we waited for abt 20 mins. The food was not bad and the price was oso reasonable. However, the serving was not enough for me, so I ended up buying pizza from a place call Azar Pizza (recommended by Ida & Grace). It was cheap though, 3 for $8. Nothing much after that. Juz took a couple of pics outside the casino and then we went back to college.

Hmm... I wanna get a new laptop. My current one gives me problems occasionally. When I boot up, it will hang at the Windows screen for quite sometime. So, it is kinda irritating to wait... There wil be an IT fair at the end of nov. The actual dates are Nov 30 - Dec 3. 11am-9pm, Expo Hall 3 & 4.

The laptop I wanna get is the Acer Aspire 5593WXMi. Powerful notebook at an affordable price. I am attracted to its Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with up to 512MB HyperMemory and 120GB S-ATA HDD. The price is $2398. Hope there will be trade in available man. LOL.
